"Oh my, I honestly don’t know where to start. I have been an esthetician for 9 years on and off. Trying to learn and understand everything was very overwhelming, especially because you don’t know what products/devices to spend your money on, so you end up investing in unnecessary stuff. In most cases, you don’t have much money to get started so the last thing you want to do is spend unnecessarily. If you are like me, you probably didn’t really have a niche. You went to esthetic school and thought you were going to go work for a spa and make lots of money or start your own right out of school and family and friends were going to build your business, etc. I have invested a lot of time and money on the wrong people and things.
